In spring 2015, the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA), in collaboration with Prince George’s County and Charles County, held a round of project update open houses to provide the public updates on the SMRT Study. At the meetings, staff presented information and accepted feedback on alignments and options under consideration; characteristics of transit modes being considered and visions and challenges along the corridor.
Meetings were from 5:30 to 8 p.m.:
- June 11 at the Waldorf Jaycees in Waldorf
- June 16 at Crossland High School in Temple Hills
- June 18 at Surrattsville High School in Clinton
